About Ambassadorship Program
Established in 2008, the Fulbright Alumni Ambassador program annually selects a cohort of approximately 20 distinguished alumni of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program to serve as representatives, recruiters, and advocates. Endorsed by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, ambassadors play a vital role in promoting cultural exchange and understanding by sharing their Fulbright experiences and insights with diverse audiences. Through a rigorous selection process involving Fulbright Commissions, U.S. Embassies, program managers, and outreach divisions, ambassadors are chosen to engage with stakeholders, facilitate informational sessions, and advocate for the Fulbright Program's mission of mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries.
