In partnership with Lifetime Brands and Northumbria University School of Design, I led and worked alongside a small team of other designers to create and propose a sustainable product that can be used in the kitchen space.
Our solution to the food waste problem was to design a machine that reduced food-waste smell in the kitchen, lessened bags in landfills, and can turn food waste into plant fertilizer. The great part is, this machine can be placed in the comfort of your own home, and it is unlike any other food waste recycling machine; it has an improved usability in comparison to competition. Creating a sustainable product in not only its outputs, but also its design and functionality.
