Led a UX research and design project focused on enhancing the existing Hidden Disabilities Sunflower ID system. The goal was to improve communication and assistance for individuals with hidden disabilities, especially during times of distress. Key features included adding scannable QR codes to the ID cards to provide more detailed information on how to assist the wearer in emergencies. Developed a range of user-centered prototypes and collaborated with stakeholders to create customizable and accessible designs. Key insights were derived from ideation sessions and opposite thinking strategies, resulting in a solution that makes hidden disabilities more visible and understandable to the general public and support staff.
